Initial observations about working-from-home.

1. You don't brush your teeth until 2:30 pm.
2. You don't get out of your pyjamas, ever.
3. Unless you are working wearing your bathing suit on your balcony.
4. Watching the 9-to-5ers go to and from work is both hilarious and depressing.
5. You tend to spend more money than you actually make.
6. You discover that mint in everything is delicious for summertime snacks.

'Been Slacking!

Hello friends and those who are still checking my site after, (heavens!) 2 weeks of not posting anything. As we all know, the holiday season is knocking at the door and I have been left here gasping for air after a hurly-burly couple weeks of non-stop graphic designing and christmas shopping and witnessing my father perform a mountain-man dance in front of hundreds of employees. At least he didn't cross-dress this year.

But yes, I will be back and at it, and with an upcoming holiday trip to HK, be sure to catch some more goodies soon.

Hello, old friends.

The past few weeks, oh my, how quickly they have passed. In the moments that I have had a chance to write, my ridiculously tardy internet connection refuses to allow me to upload anything, and then all the other moments in between I have spent laughing, crying, nursing wounds that have formed into scars (that's real, not just metaphorical. ask anyone who's seen my mess of a knee), and just sitting back and wondering what the heck is going on around here.

But, good news, I have found the most daaahhling coffee shop at a nearby gallery with quick wireless, and will be back in full visual swing soon! In the meantime, I have made a discovery to be shared with you all: boiled egg, grapes, cheese, and avocado all taste damn good together.

Another Saturday morning...

It's a scorcher in sunny, humid Toronto today. Just summer gracing us with her sweaty presence... smells like a day for procrastination!
Some thoughts on things I could do today but likely will not do:
1. Go to the gym. I've been told my shoulders are too small.
2. Find a table and outdoor rug for my balcony.
3. Go out and buy some music, like my conscience-friendly friend, Angela.
4. Go grocery shopping.
5. Or at least buy some juice, dammit!
6. Look for a bike.

Instead, I think I'll just finish this posting, go the washroom, continue thinking about how nuts it is that there exist uncontacted tribes in Brazil, and do something useful like pay my energy bill. Till Monday, when I'm back with faster Internet connection! Thanks, work!
