How did I miss this?

Yes yes, somehow it seems like in the last few weeks suddenly everyone is talking about that little thing called Twitter, with an increasing number of participants joining everyday. (Which brings up the issue of whether or not the already shaky site can handle the surge of newbies tweeting in. Really, the first time I got the "your account has been deleted" message I freaked. I now get it regularly and just refresh my page.) In any case, with more people tweeting, I think it makes websites like Twitscoop a lot more interesting. Twitscoop highlights the most popular words at any given time (they update themselves every 20 seconds!) that are popping up on Twitter, giving a general sense of some of the topics of the moment and trends. Twitter is good and fun and all, but how am I supposed to tell the 12 people following me about how I ate bad roti for lunch when the site's always down? In those times, I revert to When Twitter is Down for consolation. Refresh, chuckle. Refresh, chuckle. Refresh, baaah hahahha that was a good one.
